Apps in Johannesburg.

To be fair

When Heroku may suit you better.

  • Your stack depends on add-ons from the Heroku Elements Marketplace.
  • You need Private Spaces, Shield compliance or Heroku Connect for Salesforce data.
  • You run worker dynos or Heroku Scheduler jobs. Lahyer runs web apps and static sites today.

Moving from Heroku

Three steps
to switch.

Bring the code.

Connect the repository. Supported frameworks build as they are. Lahyer does not read a Procfile, so add a Dockerfile for other apps.

Move config and data.

Copy your config vars into encrypted environment variables, then restore a pg_dump into a Lahyer Postgres database.

Point your domain.

Add the domain to your Lahyer project and update the DNS records it shows. HTTPS follows once the domain is verified.
